REALITY SHIT AND US

Today's world is almost entirely made up of reality shows and selfies. Everyone wants to be famous just for the sake of being famous. It's all thanks to the crap our society consumes without giving it a second thought.

Let me show you what I mean.

Travel channel is no more about travel, world, culture etc. but about self important couples who think that I am interested what kind of crappy house or flat in what country they going to buy.

Discovery channel is no more about discovery but about cars, old cars, broken cars, people almost dying to make a selfie they think that everyone just must see and a bunch of idiots from USA, Canada and UK buying shit in auctions so they can sell it.

National Geographic is about who catches more fish, who digs more gold and showing a bunch of YouTube videos  of people falling and portraying it as science.

Even cartoons became reality TV based and themed.

Moreover, worse is that all channels are showing basically the same reality show 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year!

News channels aren't better as they manage to stretch sometimes only one or two sentences into all day topic.

So what is the impact of such extreme exposure to the culture of reality TV?

Well it all comes down to the total degradation of our society, culture, philosophy, religion/beliefs and politics.

By the powers of reality TV a beautiful and important idea of individualism was transformed into perverted version of itself, the culture of stupidity, ignorance extreme egocentricism and narcissism.

People are exploiting someone's pain on social media just to get likes. Cynical posts on Facebook and other social media sites of dying children from illness or starvation with a caption that one like equals one prayer.
Well guess what, if there is God then he doesn’t care about your fucking self obsession and how many likes you will get. He cares about you actually getting your ass up and doing something that actually does count as help.

Somehow the idea of feminism and empowerment of women transformed into  butts, boobs and pretty face shouting how important she is cause “yeah, you know, whateves, I’ll just go and twerk”.
In interviews artists say that their album is to show that woman can succeed and be what she wants to be and in music videos all you can see is almost fully exposed boobs and butts. I am not saying that it is not nice to look at as it is but just do not label it as the empowerment of women.

Reality TV shit has spread all over our lives so I am not surprised that Mr. Pussy Grabber is going to be the leader of the free world. People are too obsessed about themselves and celebrity (or rather pseudo celebrity) culture to notice that as a society we are fucked.
Over 3 billion years of evolutionary success and all we have to show is wars, famine, global warming and trillions of selfies.
If everything will continue going the way it does today then soon enough a new kind of boner pills will receive a Nobel prize in medicine, Assad will receive two Nobel prizes, one for chemistry and the other for peace. For chemistry because he is going to kill half of Syrians using chlorine gas and for peace because all opposition to his regime will be dead so the peace in Syria will be restored.

In conclusion – if you are still a foetus then do not delay and ask your mum to abort you as no loving parent will want their children to suffer the pains of the idiocracy we so proudly call ‘Civilised World’.
